I don’t know about your family, but we watch the movie every Christmas at least once.

Home Alone.

The 1990 film starring actor Macaulay Culkin, playing Kevin McCallister, is a favorite.

In the movie, there is a scene when McCallister goes to the grocery store to buy milk, bread, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric softener, cling wrap, macaroni and cheese, a turkey TV dinner, orange juice, and a bag of plastic Army men.

The total cost of the trip to the store was $19.83 (remember those days?).

Last year, a popular social media influencer decided to buy those same items at a Kroger grocery store, and the total of those items was $44.40.

This year, Nick Smith from NewsNation ran the same experiment, costing a staggering $72.28!

Economists are predicting that food prices are going to continue to rise. Even the Biden administration’s Department of Agriculture has said that food prices will continue to increase another 3 to 4 percent.

According to economic reports US families are spending an extra $11,434 per year trying to maintain their standard of living from just a couple of years ago.

The devastation done by Biden to the economy is why you are seeing the latest fear campaign against former President Trump.

The new talking point isn’t making life easier or better for Americans it’s just inflammatory rhetoric.
