When RFK jumped into the race as a Democrat, the smear machine went into full gear. Recently, RFK announced that he is going to run as an independent, and now, all of a sudden, the media loves him.
The stories about him being an anti-vaccine nut are gone, and there are multiple stories about the impact he is going to have on the race.
I was instantly skeptical of RFK. He was way, way too silent for nearly five years on all the hot button issues he now claims to champion. His family is royalty among elitist dems. Why on God’s earth would anyone believe he’s populist hero? https://t.co/RYg4HWOqCz pic.twitter.com/VlOvk28nzZ

Why? Because he’s siphoning off votes from former President Trump.

A new poll from Marist in partnership with NPR and PBS Newshour has revealed some fresh insights into the potential impact of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential candidacy. According to the survey, President Joe Biden enjoys a 44% to 37% lead over former President Donald Trump when Kennedy is included in the equation.
The poll indicates that 16% of respondents back Kennedy, while Biden and Trump have both dropped five and ten points respectively among Democrats and Republicans respectively since Kennedy entered the race. In addition, the survey found that one in six voters are looking for another option.
Commenting on the survey findings, Lee M. Miringoff of Marist College Institute for Public Opinion said: “Although it’s always tricky to assess the impact of a third-party candidate, right now Kennedy alters the equation in Biden’s favor.”

It’s no wonder the media now has nothing bad to say about RFK.
