Former President Bill Clinton was recently spotted vacationing in Mexico with California Governor Gavin Newsom amid the release of Jeffrey Epstein-related court documents. The sighting sparked renewed interest in Clinton’s connection to the convicted sex offender and raised questions about his involvement in illegal activities.

The pair was seen at the Four Seasons Resort in Tamarindo, Mexico on Friday, with a photo showing them riding in a golf cart together. Clinton’s private villa, accessible only by a private footpath, was guarded by U.S. Secret Service agents to ensure his safety and privacy.

This vacation comes shortly after the former president was seen visiting San Miguel de Allende, where the local mayor posted on social media about Clinton’s visit. However, the timing of this vacation raises eyebrows as it coincides with the release of documents that mention Clinton’s name in connection to Epstein’s sex crimes.

“Even Bill Clinton walks calmly and safely through the streets of San Miguel de Allende, enjoying its unique beauty and kindness of the people of San Miguel de Allende,” Mayor Mauricio Trejo Pureco posted on X.

One document, which includes the 2016 testimony of Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg, alleges that Clinton “likes them young” in reference to young girls. Another filing reveals a claim that Clinton allegedly threatened Vanity Fair magazine not to publish articles about Epstein’s sex trafficking.

These claims have reignited controversy surrounding Clinton’s association with Epstein, whose death in prison last year sparked conspiracy theories among some that he was silenced to protect powerful friends.

Clinton has denied any involvement in Epstein’s sex crimes and has not been implicated in any illegal activity. However, his name has appeared multiple times in documents related to the case, raising questions about his relationship with Epstein.

The former president’s connection to the disgraced financier goes back to the 1990s when he flew on Epstein’s private jet, known as the “Lolita Express,” and visited his private island. While Clinton has claimed to have only taken four trips on the plane, flight logs obtained by Fox News show that he took at least 26 flights.

Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, who has accused Clinton of sexual misconduct, has also tried to compel him to be deposed in her 2015 lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former associate who is now serving 20 years in prison for her role in his sex trafficking. However, Clinton has not been deposed or charged with any crimes.

The former president’s vacation with Newsom has sparked criticism, with some questioning the governor’s decision to vacation with someone connected to such a controversial case. However, neither Clinton nor Newsom have commented on the vacation or the release of the Epstein-related documents.

In the wake of these sightings and renewed attention to his connection to Epstein, Clinton’s spokesperson released a statement reiterating his denial of any wrongdoing. They stated that “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago” and that he has not spoken to Epstein in over a decade.
