Yes, we are going to use mainstream media news outlet sources for this because we are going to keep the “fact checkers” and algorithm people happy. We’ve been getting crushed by them the last few weeks.
NBC News and other outlets have (curiously) reported about an IRS whistleblower informing the House Ways and Means Committee that a US attorney was thwarted by superiors from bringing more significant charges against Hunter Biden.

The whistleblower, Gary Shapley, says Attorney General Merrick Garland was not telling Congress the truth when he asserted in earlier testimony that Weiss, who is based in Delaware, had the authority to charge in other jurisdictions, including California and Washington, D.C. Shapley said bringing charges in those districts is not something the U.S. attorneys there, who were appointed by President Joe Biden, would do.

At the center of the whistleblower claims is a text message of Hunter Biden using his Dad the Vice President Joe Biden as leverage.
It’s not just the blatant corruption- but Hunter’s thuggish entitlement that is so completely bonkers here. He’s invoking daddy so he can threaten the reputation of a ChiCom bribery cutout.

To be fair we have no idea if Biden was actually in the room or if Hunter was bluffing but, the fact that this was even going on is troubling.
The implication is major. A serious allegation of corruption and selling out US interests to foreign entities. At the very least, it needs investigation and Biden needs to go on the record that his son was lying/doing this behind his back. Simply ignoring it is not justifiable.

The Justice Department has denied Shapely’s allegations.
“As both the Attorney General and U.S. Attorney David Weiss have said, U.S. Attorney Weiss has full authority over this matter, including responsibility for deciding where, when, and whether to file charges as he deems appropriate. He needs no further approval to do so,” said Wyn Hornbuckle, the deputy director of the Justice Department Office of Public Affairs.
