Ah yes, another day, another unhinged leftist rant accusing someone they don’t like of being a N*zi. This time, it’s Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who, in his infinite wisdom, decided to go on MSNBC and casually declare that Elon Musk—yes, Elon Musk—gave a N*zi salute after Trump’s inauguration. The evidence for this wild accusation? Oh, don’t worry, there isn’t any. But when has that ever stopped the Left from throwing around the most insane smears they can think of?
Walz, a failed vice-presidential hopeful and now a professional MSNBC talking head, made this absurd claim while chatting with Rachel Maddow, another mainstay of the Left’s outrage machine. He dramatically declared, “We spent three days debating, having them try to debate if President (sic) Musk gave a N*zi salute.
Of course, he did.” Ah, of course, he did! Because if Tim Walz says it, it must be true. Never mind the fact that Musk has absolutely nothing to do with N*zism—he’s simply an independent thinker who refuses to march in lockstep with the Democratic Party. And that, apparently, is enough to earn you the worst label the Left can throw at someone.

Naturally, people weren’t having it. Conservative activist Robby Starbuck fired back on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Creepy Tim Walz says ‘of course Elon did a N*zi salute.’ I hope Elon sues him for all he’s worth.”
Well, guess what? Musk agreed. His response? “I think I will. Tim Walz is a creepy 🤡.”
I think I will.
Tim Walz is a creepy 🤡

Now, I don’t know about you, but I’d pay to watch this lawsuit unfold. Musk is a billionaire with the resources to take this all the way, and Walz? Well, let’s just say he’s not exactly in the same league financially. According to CBS News, his net worth is somewhere between $117,000 and $330,000, mostly tied up in a retirement account. Sure, he’s got a federal pension that might be worth up to $800,000, but if Musk sues him into oblivion, Walz might want to start checking Craigslist for a new side hustle.
But let’s zoom out for a second. This isn’t just about Musk—this is about a disturbing trend on the Left, where calling conservatives “N*zis” has become their go-to move. They don’t need facts, evidence, or anything remotely resembling reality. If you challenge them, if you refuse to bow to their ideology, you’re a N*zi. End of discussion.
Walz has a history of this nonsense. Back in October, when Trump held a massive rally at Madison Square Garden, Walz rushed to compare it to an actual Nazi rally from the 1930s. Because, you know, a bunch of Americans peacefully gathering to support a former (and future) president is totally the same as a pro-Hitler rally. And just to drive the point home, the Democratic National Committee even projected “Trump praised H**ler” on the side of Madison Square Garden—because nothing screams “rational political discourse” like straight-up propaganda.
Now, here’s where things get interesting. If Musk does sue Walz, it could set a precedent. The Left has been throwing around defamatory accusations for years, completely unchecked. But what happens when they finally face real consequences for their lies? What happens when someone with the means to fight back says, enough?
Walz might think he’s playing to his base, but he’s playing with fire. Musk has both the willpower and the war chest to make this a very, very expensive mistake. And frankly, it’s about time someone holds these people accountable. So, by all means, Elon—sue away.
