Hello, everyone! Whether you love him or hate him, you’ve got to admit that Donald Trump knows how to keep things entertaining!
On Wednesday, he delivered another classic performance that had everyone talking. I have no idea if his antics will help him win the election, but they certainly kept the laughs coming. And in politics, humor can be a powerful tool.
First off, Trump sent the press into a frenzy at the National Association of Black Journalists by questioning Kamala Harris’ racial identity. Then, he held a rally in Pennsylvania where he reenacted Harris’ staged phone call with the Obamas endorsing her presidential run. It was vintage Trump and absolutely hilarious.
Trump said, “Everything about Kamala Harris’ roll-out, it’s phony and fake. Did you see when President Obama and Michelle called? ‘Hello, hello, yes, yes, who is this? Oh, this is Michelle and Barack. Oh, oh, so surprised to hear!’ They’ve got four cameras in front. ‘Oh, I’m so surprised!’ It’s on speakerphone. ‘Listen, we just want to congratulate you on destroying Biden, I mean, on winning the…’ Was that the phoniest phone call you’ve ever seen?”

The crowd ate it up, and the laughs didn’t stop there. Trump took a jab at Biden and Harris, saying they sit around the White House “trying to figure out who’s dumber” while savage Venezuelan gangs plot attacks on American police.
Trump continued saying, “Yesterday it was reported that more than 1000 members of the savage Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua are plotting to conduct ambush attacks on police and law enforcement in the United States, all the while Harris and Biden sit in the White House and try to figure out who’s dumber. Think of it. Massive, massive numbers of Venezuelan gang members.”
Trump wasn’t making things up. Local news stations confirmed that Tren de Aragua members had received a “green light” to carry out attacks, with Denver, CO, being one of the targeted cities.

Sure, this kind of stuff makes some Republicans nervous. They worry it might hurt Trump’s re-election chances and affect down-ballot races. But let’s face it: this is Trump being Trump. He’s never going to stop making fun of Democrats, even if it sparks controversy. And Harris, with her lack of unscripted press conferences, isn’t exactly helping herself either.
Former President Donald Trump blasted the “rude and nasty” questions from moderators during his Q&A session at the NABJ Conference in Chicago. He celebrated the event as a victory despite the contentious start. Trump sat down with ABC’s Rachel Scott, Semafor’s Kadia Goba, and Fox News’ Harris Faulkner, who grilled him on various topics from abortion to January 6. Trump described the interview as “rude and nasty” but declared, “We CRUSHED IT!” on Truth Social.
Trump responds to biased ABC journalist: “First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever been asked a question in such a horrible manner. You don’t even say, ‘Hello, how are you?’”

Trump discussed illegal immigration, the economy, and inflation, highlighting how these issues are affecting black Americans under Biden’s administration. “The inflation is absolutely destroying our middle class, our working class, virtually every class. Inflation is a disaster in our country,” Trump said. “People can’t buy houses. They no longer have the American Dream. Young people, young black people, they don’t have the American Dream anymore.”
Before the Q&A, Trump also took a swipe at Harris for declining to attend the NABJ Conference due to scheduling conflicts. “Crazy Kamala disrespectfully refused to attend the National Association of Black Journalists Conference, but I am on my way to meet with them now in Chicago,” he posted on Truth Social.
In summary, Trump’s antics might make some Republicans cringe, but they’re also what keeps his base fired up. Whether it’s reenacting Harris’ phone call or tackling serious issues with his trademark humor, Trump is staying true to himself. As for Harris, her silence is starting to raise eyebrows. Enjoy the ride and laugh a little. We’ll see how it turns out in November.
