Pelosi Comments On SOTU

In a baffling move, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi criticized President Joe Biden’s use of the word “illegal” during his State of the Union address.

Instead, Pelosi suggested that Biden should have used the term “undocumented” when referring to the suspect in the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student.

Pelosi appeared on CNN’s coverage of the State of the Union and criticized Biden’s use of the term, stating that it was not a “big thing.” She then went on to explain that using the word “illegal” was incorrect and that Biden should have said “undocumented” instead.

It seems like Pelosi is more focused on political correctness than addressing the real issue at hand – the tragic death of a young woman at the hands of an individual who should never have been in the country in the first place.

Anchor Dana Bash seemed taken aback by Pelosi’s comment, as she had not intended to bring up the topic. However, Pelosi quickly reiterated her point, stating that while she did not think it was a “big deal,” she believed the president should have used the correct terminology.

It’s interesting to note that Pelosi’s first instinct was to nitpick over a single word rather than talk about the larger issue of illegal immigration and the devastating consequences it has on American citizens.

Pelosi’s comment is just the latest example of the left’s obsession with political correctness. In their world, words matter more than actions. Instead of focusing on the thousands of innocent Americans who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal immigrants, Pelosi is more concerned with ensuring that the proper terminology is used.

Pelosi and her Democratic colleagues would rather play word games than have a serious discussion about illegal immigration and the dangers it poses to our communities. But for the families of victims like Laken Riley, this is not a game – it’s a nightmare they live with every day.
