Convention Honors Those Killed In Afghanistan

Ladies and gentlemen, one of the most poignant moments of the third night of the Republican National Convention was when the families of those killed in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack during Joe Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal took the stage. These Gold Star families shared their grief and their frustrating attempts to get even a shred of acknowledgment from the Biden administration.

And what does MSNBC do? In a move that’s nothing short of despicable, they refused to air that segment. Instead, they cut away for their usual hand-wringing over the fate of Biden’s presidency and who might replace him on the ticket. You can see the families on stage behind the MSNBC setup, pouring their hearts out, while the so-called journalists chat about their political games.

As the conversation continues, you can hear part of the heartfelt speeches in the background, reminding everyone watching that MSNBC couldn’t be bothered to show some respect. Nicolle Wallace even looks a little uncomfortable – as she should. But don’t worry, they quickly bring in DNC chair Jaime Harrison and share a good laugh. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is heartbroken and tearful over the loss these families have endured.

Let’s not forget, this is the same network that yanked Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough off the air Monday because they were scared one of their guests might say something stupid. Yet, they still made the baffling decision to ignore these grieving families. But then again, why are we surprised? They don’t care about the military, and they certainly can’t bear to show any evidence that there have been military deaths on Biden’s watch.

Here’s what ABC’s report said:

So, while MSNBC is busy playing politics and protecting their narrative, the real stories and real heartbreaks are pushed aside. It’s clear where their priorities lie, and it’s not with the brave men and women who serve this country.
