Trump’s Team Responds To Senators Letter

Oh, Elizabeth Warren is at it again, folks. This time, she’s throwing a fit over Elon Musk’s appointment to co-lead the newly minted Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under President-elect Trump’s administration. Warren’s favorite hobby—besides grandstanding, of course—is sending strongly worded letters, and she didn’t disappoint, penning a diatribe to Trump’s transition team to demand ethics rules for Musk. Because, clearly, that’s the pressing issue facing America right now.

In her letter, Warren screeches about Musk’s potential conflicts of interest, fretting that his role might benefit his companies—Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter). She warns ominously about corruption “on a scale not seen in our lifetimes,” as though Musk is Dr. Evil plotting to weaponize Teslas and take over the world. Naturally, she conveniently forgets that Musk’s companies have done more to innovate, create jobs, and advance technology than any career politician could dream of.

Let’s break this down. Warren is worried Musk might whisper secrets to Trump that could benefit his businesses. You know, the businesses that are helping America maintain a competitive edge in tech, energy, and space exploration? The horror! Musk himself has said his priority is the country, not his bottom line—a concept clearly foreign to Warren, who has built her entire career on posturing and virtue signaling.

Of course, Warren’s theatrics didn’t stop there. She trotted out to MSNBC, where she and Chris Hayes engaged in a mutual grievance session, speculating about Musk’s “whispers” to Trump. According to Warren, Musk might be plotting to “make his companies richer” or—gasp!—”back off the regulators.” Because apparently, in Warren’s world, reducing government overreach and creating jobs is a scandal.

Meanwhile, Trump’s team isn’t having it. Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s press secretary, fired back with the kind of mic-drop moment Warren fully deserved: “Pocahontas can play political games and send toothless letters, but the Trump-Vance transition will continue to be held to the highest ethical and legal standards possible—a standard unfamiliar to a career politician whose societal impact is 1/1024th of Elon Musk’s.” Ouch. That’s going to leave a mark.

The Washington Post, predictably, clutched its pearls over the “derogatory nickname” for Warren, conveniently glossing over the fact that her claims of Native American ancestry were used to boost her academic career. Harvard even listed her as a minority hire at one point. But sure, let’s pretend Warren’s track record of questionable ethics doesn’t undermine her high-and-mighty crusade against Musk.

And Musk? Oh, he’s having a field day. Not only did he repost Leavitt’s clapback, but he also doubled down with a jab at the legacy media, noting how they’ve conveniently ignored Warren’s dubious past. Using Grok, Musk poked fun at the senator, reminding everyone that her obsession with attacking him is as transparent as her failed presidential run.

Warren’s tirade is just another example of the Left’s fixation with smearing anyone aligned with Trump. They can’t handle the idea of a successful entrepreneur like Musk bringing his innovative mindset to the government. Instead, they conjure up wild conspiracy theories about corruption, ignoring the glaring inefficiency and cronyism that have plagued D.C. for decades.

Maybe instead of whining about Elon Musk, Warren should focus on something more productive—like finding a new shtick. The Pocahontas routine is getting old.
