Sylvester Stallone, the tough and renowned actor known for his famous roles in Rambo and Rocky, is also known for his love and protectiveness towards his daughters.

In a recent interview with the New York Post, his daughters Sistine and Sophia revealed that their father hired Navy SEALs to teach them self-defense before their move to New York City. This move was to ensure their safety in the big city, and it seems like Stallone will stop at nothing to protect his girls.

The training session was not an easy one, the girls recounted. They were put through rigorous hours in the woods with the real-deal Navy SEALs and even tasked with catching a chicken.

“Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys. They were the real deal,” Sistine said. “And I’m not surprised my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings.”

“I went in there a little cocky, no pun intended,” Sistine joked, “I got beat by the chicken.” This is not surprising, as Stallone is known to be a fitness enthusiast and has probably instilled this discipline in his daughters since a young age.

“It was a rigorous routine. Every day at 6 a.m., he would make us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination … to bulk up,” said Sophia told the Post. “But then it was a lot of sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, clean and jerks.”

Many might wonder why Stallone would go to such lengths to train his daughters in self-defense. The answer is simple: his love and over-protectiveness towards his daughters. His third daughter, Scarlet, who lives in Miami, said that her father is a “classic, overprotective dad.” And with three daughters at an age where they are “all over the place,” it is understandable that Stallone would want them to be prepared and able to defend themselves in today’s world.

While the girls have now moved on to their respective locations – New York City and Miami – where they are pursuing their dreams, Stallone remains nervous and concerned for their safety. He even has a tracking app on their phones to keep an eye on their whereabouts. But we can’t blame him, can we?

Despite not being involved in the Navy SEALs training, Scarlet is grateful for her father’s efforts in keeping her and her sisters safe.
