It’s official: Democrats have no clue how to connect with voters, and the numbers prove it.
A recent survey from Echelon Insights shows the reality liberals are desperately trying to ignore—Republicans are more favorable, more trusted, and more aligned with voters’ concerns. Swing states turned redder, over 80 percent of American counties shifted to the right, and even wealthy urban areas—Democrats’ prized strongholds—saw sharp moves toward Donald Trump and the GOP.
The reasons aren’t exactly rocket science. People care about jobs, the economy, and safety. Meanwhile, Democrats spent the last few years doubling down on “defund the police,” ignoring inflation, and prioritizing esoteric climate regulations over kitchen-table issues. The results? A voter rebellion that not only handed Trump a decisive return to the White House but also left Democrats wandering in a political wilderness they haven’t seen since 2004.
According to the Echelon survey, a whopping 53 percent of voters approve of how Trump is handling his transition, while only 40 percent disapprove. That’s not just goodwill; it’s a mandate. Despite the left’s obsessive attempts to demonize Trump, 58 percent of voters believe the country will move in a better direction under his leadership. Even Trump’s personal favorability (49 percent) is now higher than Kamala Harris (47 percent) and Joe Biden (42 percent). Ouch.
Do you approve or disapprove of the way Donald Trump is handling the presidential transition?

Here’s where it gets worse for the Democrats. A majority of Americans (51 percent) have an unfavorable opinion of the Democratic Party. Compare that to the GOP’s favorable rating of 48 percent, and it’s clear who voters are siding with. Democrats can’t hide behind narratives about “bad polling” or miscommunication anymore. They’ve simply alienated too many people with their elitist, out-of-touch approach.
The cherry on top? The Democratic Party doesn’t even have a leader for the future. Kamala Harris is their top choice for 2028, but she’s pulling just 41 percent among Democratic voters—and that’s the best they’ve got. Most Democrats are looking for alternatives, which underscores the deep leadership vacuum within the party. It’s chaos, plain and simple.

For all their coastal condescension about “Whole Foods voters,” Democrats failed to realize what actually matters to everyday Americans: policies that improve their lives. The Echelon survey makes it clear—voters may not always like Trump’s personality, but they overwhelmingly support his policies and want him to succeed. That’s the paradox Democrats can’t comprehend, and it’s why they’re stuck playing catch-up while Republicans move forward with a clear mandate.
Trump’s return is more than a victory lap—it’s a signal that the American people are fed up with the Democratic Party’s endless virtue signaling and failure to deliver. Voters spoke, and the message is clear: get back to basics or get left behind.
