She described the meeting as “very good” and said Trump was “a gentleman, very courteous, very receptive”. During their talk, she argued that Trump is uniquely qualified to fix the immigration mess because he is a businessman. She told him, “He is a construction and hospitality guy — he gets it more than anybody”. Because Salazar knows how to manage operations, he thinks he can resolve a 40-year-old mess that has been occurring.

She reminded him, “No other president — and you know I covered for 35 years Spanish television — no other president was able to convince the Hispanics to vote 55 points for a GOP president”.
