Bill Maher, a well-known liberal comedian and political commentator, has been making the rounds promoting his new book, and he’s not afraid to take on the left. He recently sat down with Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News anchor and Trump supporter, and it was quite an eye-opening interview.
Maher, known for his criticisms of the current political climate, has been struck with a bad case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” a term used by conservatives to describe the obsession and hatred toward former President Donald Trump. But in his interview with Kelly, Maher seemed to see the light and acknowledge the left’s radicalism finally.
He criticized the left for their biased and false portrayal of the GOP, claiming that they no longer believe in democracy. However, Kelly was quick to point out that it was actually the Democrats who have been undermining the system, citing Hillary Clinton’s constant denial of the 2016 election results.

Three years after losing to Trump, Hillary Clinton was still denying the legitimacy of the 2016 election.

Maher seemed to be unaware of these facts, as Kelly had to inform him of Clinton’s own words stating that the election was “not on the level.” This denial of the 2016 election was not limited to Clinton, as many Democrats in power at the time also participated in trying to discredit and undermine Trump’s victory.
Kelly also had to educate Maher on the differences between the border under Trump and the border under Biden. Maher, who had previously criticized Trump’s handling of the border, had to admit that the border crisis was now worse under Biden’s policies, which are being influenced by the radical left.

The most surprising moment of the interview was when Maher, who had previously bought into the leftist lies about the January 6 Capitol riot, repeated the false claim that “cops were killed” during the riots. Kelly had to correct him and remind him that no police officers were killed that day. It’s shocking that Maher, a political commentator, did not know this fact, which has been twisted and propagated by the left.

Their discussion also touched on the left’s obsession with wokeness and race-baiting, with Kelly pointing out Biden’s long history of racist comments and his recent remarks at Morehouse College’s commencement ceremony. Maher agreed that the left needs to consider why Trump is doing better with minorities and acknowledged that Biden’s comments were outdated and out of touch.

In the end, Kelly’s excellent job of challenging Maher with facts and truths left him stammering and realizing his own ignorance. It’s time for Democrats to wake up and see the reality of their own party and stop blindly following their leaders, who are leading them down a dangerous path.
