Kamala Sits Down For Interview With Oprah

Well, well, well—Kamala Harris just couldn’t help herself, could she? During a virtual campaign rally with none other than Oprah Winfrey, the vice president decided to drop a bombshell that left even Oprah speechless.

Harris, the very person who’s been pushing for stricter gun control for years, casually revealed that she’s packing heat at home and, if someone breaks in, they’re “getting shot.” Yep, you heard that right. Kamala Harris, the queen of gun control, is a gun owner herself. Oh, but don’t worry. She’ll deal with the fallout later, and her staff will take care of that.

Oprah, ever the supportive host, acted completely shocked. “I did not know that,” she exclaimed as if discovering her long-lost BFF had been moonlighting as a cowboy. But the kicker came when Kamala, through laughter, doubled down, saying, “If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot, sorry.” Oh really? Suddenly, self-defense is cool when it’s Kamala’s house, but when it comes to the average American trying to defend their family, you can bet she’s all in for restrictive gun policies.

And let’s not forget—this is the same Kamala Harris who, as San Francisco’s district attorney, suggested police should have the right to barge into legal gun owners’ homes to inspect how they’re storing their firearms. Yes, you read that correctly. In 2007, she openly pushed for government officials to invade the privacy of law-abiding citizens to make sure they were being “responsible” with their legally owned guns. But sure, Kamala, go ahead and laugh it off while claiming you’re not after anyone’s guns. Just a little routine home inspection from Big Brother!

Naturally, social media was quick to point out the obvious hypocrisy. “Security for me but not for thee,” Libs of TikTok tweeted, summing it up perfectly. It’s the same old story with Democrats like Harris—they’re more than happy to call for gun restrictions for everyone else while enjoying the luxury of armed protection themselves. Conservative radio host Larry Elder nailed it: “Guns for me, not for thee.”

And, as Derek Hunter from Townhall.com pointed out, Harris isn’t exactly relying on a nightstand revolver for protection. No, if an intruder does make the mistake of breaking into her home, it’s not Kamala pulling the trigger—it’s the Secret Service. Meanwhile, the rest of us are supposed to hand over our firearms and just hope for the best, right?

The rally itself was a veritable Hollywood lovefest, featuring virtual appearances from the likes of Bryan Cranston, Meryl Streep, and Julia Roberts. Because, of course, nothing says “for the people,” like a bunch of celebrities gathering to endorse a politician who’s dead set on taking away the very rights that allow Americans to protect themselves.

Kamala’s little slip-up isn’t just a one-off moment of “oops, I shouldn’t have said that.” It’s a window into the real double standard at play. She can crack jokes about shooting intruders all she wants, but don’t be fooled—her policies have consistently aimed to disarm everyday Americans while she enjoys the luxury of 24/7 protection. So, while Kamala laughs it up with Oprah and her Hollywood pals, the rest of us are left wondering: if she wins, who will defend our homes? Certainly not her policies.

And then, of course, there were more word salads with no actual plans of fixing anything.
