During Hunter Biden’s appearance in federal court that resulted in him pleading not guilty to fraud and money laundering, something interesting happened. During the hearing, Hunter Biden confirmed he received over $600,000 from a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-backed company, which contradicted President Biden’s assertion that members of his family have not “made money from China.”

The official court transcript revealed that prosecutors said in their proposed plea agreement with Hunter that the president’s son had received $664,000 from a “Chinese infrastructure investment company.” When asked who his business partner was, Hunter responded, “I don’t know how to spell his name, Yi Jianming is the chairman of the company.” Yi Jianmin is the chairman of the CCP-backed CEFC. Hunter also confirmed to the court during the hearing that he falsely classified his business income between 2015 and 2018.

The apparent confirmation of Hunt’s connection with the CCP-backed company directly contradicted what President Biden had said during an October 2020 debate with former president Donald Trump, when Biden had claimed “nobody else made money from China.” An email from Hunter shows him reaching out directly to Zhao Runlong at CEFC, with the attachment of a letter wishing ‘the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners.’

There are small cracks starting to show as a bright spotlight begins to shine on Hunter Biden. It’s no wonder Trump got hit with three more charges.
