Well, well, well. It looks like Fulton County’s now-disgraced District Attorney, Fani Willis, just took another L—and it’s a big one. A Georgia judge has ruled that her office owes Judicial Watch more than $20,000 in attorney’s fees over an open records request. Apparently, when you play fast and loose with the law in your crusade to “get Trump,” it doesn’t always end well. Who could’ve seen that coming? (Spoiler alert: everyone with a functioning brain.)
Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton wasted no time celebrating the win on social media, calling out Willis for “flouting the law.” And honestly, he’s not wrong. According to the court, Willis not only failed to comply with Georgia’s Open Records Act but outright lied by denying the existence of records Judicial Watch had requested. Those records, by the way, allegedly show collusion between her office and the Pelosi-led January 6 Committee to concoct charges against President-elect Trump. If that doesn’t reek of political gamesmanship, I don’t know what does.
BREAKING: A judge in Georgia just ordered Fani Willis to pay over $21,000 to Judicial Watch to cover their legal fees in the lawsuit they brought against her to expose her collusion with the Biden DOJ to “get Trump.”
The walls have fully closed in on Fani, and I bet she fully… pic.twitter.com/s1XeNjhSGw

Now, $20,000 may not sound like a lot when you’re dealing with a taxpayer-funded DA’s office, but it’s about more than the money. It’s a public rebuke—a court-ordered acknowledgment that Willis and her team were, at best, grossly negligent and, at worst, downright corrupt. The fine comes after the court ruled Willis was in default—essentially, she didn’t even bother to show up to play defense properly. Maybe she was too busy crafting her next press release to notice the wheels of justice turning against her.
Judicial Watch isn’t stopping here. Fitton made it clear that the real goal is uncovering what Willis was hiding in her communications with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the January 6 Committee. Given her track record, I wouldn’t hold my breath for any innocent explanations.
Let’s not forget that Willis was disqualified from her own case against Trump due to conflicts of interest. This wasn’t some minor procedural hiccup; it was a glaring ethical failure. Add to that the cherry on top—a reportedly improper relationship with Nathan Wade, a prosecuting attorney she hired for the case. If Willis were a Republican, the media would be covering this like it was the O.J. trial. But because she was targeting Trump, the usual suspects in the press conveniently looked the other way.
This whole debacle is just another chapter in the Democrats’ ongoing saga of “lawfare” against Trump. Whether it’s Jack Smith’s endless investigations, Alvin Bragg’s weak fraud case, or this dumpster fire of prosecution from Fani Willis, the goal has always been the same: stop Trump at any cost. Not through elections, not through policy debates, but through weaponized legal systems.
Just another “conspiracy” we were right about. Fani Willis Jack Smith Leticia James Alvin Bragg Adam Schiff Judge Juan Merchan all need to be investigated and held accountable for election interference and political persecution. Bunch of criminals https://t.co/u2G6sSrCg9

And yet, despite their best efforts, Trump is headed back to the White House. The American people saw through the nonsense, rejected the smear campaigns, and voted to bring real leadership back to Washington. So how did all this “get Trump” lawfare work out for the left? Let’s just say the scoreboard isn’t in their favor.
Not a chance. When future generations look back on this era, figures like Fani Willis, Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and Alvin Bragg will be remembered as cautionary tales—examples of how political zealotry can rot the justice system from within. They didn’t just fail to “get Trump”; they exposed themselves as the very thing they claimed to oppose: corrupt, power-hungry ideologues willing to sacrifice the rule of law for political gain.
So enjoy that $20,000 bill, Fani. It’s a small price to pay for the dishonor you’ve brought upon yourself. Let’s hope that crow tastes as bitter as it looks, because this is one legacy no one will be rushing to defend.
