Johnson Joined Trump Attended Trial

House Speaker Mike Johnson appeared at the Manhattan courthouse today to show his support for former President Donald Trump as Trump continues to fight for his innocence in court.

Johnson and other Republicans, such as Senator Rick Scott and Senator J.D. Vance, have shown up at the courthouse to stand with the former president as he faces unfair attacks from the left.

Trump has been under a gag order from Judge Juan Merchan, which prevents him from speaking out about his case. This clearly violates Trump’s rights, and he has already been fined 10 times for breaking the order. If he violates the order again, he could even face jail time. This is a clear attempt by the Democrats and the prosecution to silence the former president and tarnish his reputation.

Senator J.D. Vance spoke outside the courthouse on Monday, pointing out the obvious bias of the prosecution. He stated that every person involved in the case is a Democratic political operative. The prosecution’s star witness, Michael Cohen, is a convicted felon and has already been proven to be untrustworthy. This is just another example of the left’s desperation to take down Trump at all costs.

Cohen, who previously worked for Trump, testified on Monday about secretly recording Trump before the 2016 election. He claimed that the recording was about an alleged payment to a former National Enquirer publisher regarding an affair between Trump and model Karen McDougal. But it’s important to note that Cohen has already been convicted of lying to Congress and spent time in prison.

The Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, has focused much of his case on Trump’s alleged affairs with McDougal and porn actress Stormy Daniels. This is a blatant attempt to discredit and smear the former president’s character. Trump has continuously denied any wrongdoing and has called the trial a political witch hunt.

It’s refreshing to see House Speaker Mike Johnson standing with Trump and showing his support. It’s not easy to go against the mainstream media and the efforts of the left to bring down Trump. But Johnson is standing strong, along with other Republicans, and showing that they will not back down in the face of this unfair targeting of the former president.
