House GOP Looks To Defund Kerry’s Position

We are about to see just how serious John Kerry is about his position within the Biden administration.

Kerry, who was recently laughed out of China, is President Joe Biden’s Climate czar and is the first-ever special presidential envoy for climate. The position did not require Senate approval and it gives him a spot on the president’s cabinet including access to the National Security Council.

“Climate czar John Kerry is the poster child for the Biden administration’s anti-energy policies that are destroying both our economy and national security,” Rep. Chi Roy (R-Texas) said in a statement.

Roy is now leading the charge with legislation to defund Kerry’s office that has been placed inside the State Department.

“Now John Kerry is visiting China — the top threat to our national security and the world’s number one polluter — to further hamstring energy freedom,” Roy added. “It’s time to defund anti-energy climate bureaucrats like John Kerry once and for all.”

The former failed Democrat Presidential candidate has refused to tell Congress who is working in his office and claims information pretending to who works for him is a violation of State Department rules.

“I have two deputies and they are well known, they’re very experienced people, Rick Duke and Sue Biniaz … but I’m not going to go through all that,” Kerry said. “I’m not going to fill them in here in this way, because that would be a violation of our process within the State Department.”

“I’m not going to go through them by name because that is not the required process of the State Department,” he added.

The proposed bill to defund Kerry is being met with wide support from House Republicans. RINOs like Rep. Nancy Mace and Dan Crenshaw are aboard along with very conservative members like Lauren Boebert and Byron Donalds.

Looks like we are going to find out if Kerry can work for free. May be he can get whoever owns that private jet he uses (his wife) to bank roll his exploits.
