In 2022, Disney posted record shortfalls, and after this, it probably won’t get any better this year.
Before shareholders brought Bob Iger back, you may remember the all-hands-on-deck meeting that Disney held in response to DeSantis. The meeting was never supposed to go public, but it was leaked to conservative activists Christopher Rufo, who now works for hand and hand with DeSantis.

That meeting was never supposed to go public.
Now in 2023, Disney releases a very woke video that has gone viral because of backlash.
The Disney+ animated kids series “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” claims that America was Founded on “white supremacy” and still has not atoned” for its racism.
Later in the video, after riot police show up to a protest the children do a stage performance attacking the USA: “This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country.”
At one point, they chant: “And we the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.”

Disney has also cast a drag queen in the upcoming Marvel series Ironheart. the actor hopes that he will show appeal to transgender children and teens.
