Car Wash Employee Interaction With Customer Goes Viral

In today’s entitled society, it seems like everyone thinks they can treat customer service employees like garbage and get away with it.

Case in point: the recent incident at a car wash in Indiana where a rude and disrespectful customer decided to chuck a cup of lemonade at a teenage employee.

According to reports, the customer rolled down their window and intentionally doused the hard-working teen with sticky, sugary liquid. Most people would expect the employee to just take it and continue with their job, but not Anna Harycki.

Oh no, this young woman had had enough of rude customers and decided to fight back in the most creative and satisfying way possible.

Anna Harycki

Without missing a beat, Harycki grabbed the nearest weapon she had – a powerful hose – and unleashed a wave of water through the open window of the offending vehicle. Talk about instant karma! The video of this epic retaliation quickly went viral, and for good reason. Finally, someone standing up to a disrespectful customer.

But, it gets better! Instead of the usual “customer is always right” mentality that seems to permeate many businesses, Harycki’s boss actually took a stand and banned the rude customer from ever returning to the car wash. A refreshing change from the usual coddling and pandering to entitled customers.

Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. Just recently, a fast-food restaurant had a similar altercation. A rude customer not only threw a drink lid at an employee through the drive-thru window but proceeded to cause a scene inside the restaurant as well. This is becoming all too common, and it’s time we as a society start holding these entitled individuals accountable for their actions.

It’s time for a reality check. Customers are not always right, and it’s high time we start respecting those who work in customer service. They deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not as punching bags for angry, entitled customers.
