Nationally syndicated radio hot Dana Loesch ripped into President Joe Biden after a recent speech.
President Biden appears to have gone off script and said what Loesch called “the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard a politician say about guns.”
Biden was bragging about his effort at gun control using his recent to change the ATF’s pistol brace rule.
The new rule – went into effect June 1 – treats pistol brace firearms like short-barreled rifles. Should the tens of millions of Americans not comply with the compliance rules with the wave of his wand Biden made them all felons.
To explain how stupid what Joe said, we must go a little nitty gritty into the new rule.
It’s really about the “brace” – a piece of plastic – that the Obama rule allowed owners to shoulder fire or use the brace. Now Biden says the brace must be removed or registered under the National Firearms Act (there are a couple other options but we are keeping it simple).
So if an owner removes the brace – a piece of plastic – and destroys it, they comply with the rule.
Here’s what Joe said about his new rule.
“Made it harder for people buy stabilized brief— braces. Put a pistol on a brace, it turns into a gun, makes it more, you can have a higher-caliber weapon, higher-caliber bullet coming out of that gun,” Biden said.

“This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard a politician say about guns,” Loesch said. “A plastic brace on a gun does not change the CALIBER OF THE GUN or the rate of fire.”

It would be one thing if Biden bragged he was closing a loophole or enacting gun control because of a “reckless SCOTUS.” At least those arguments would make sense from his point of view.
But no. Not Joe Biden. He goes on some insane tangent because he has no idea what the heck he’s talking about.
