Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is furious over a parody account that is mocking her.
The account, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) has taken the internet by storm and the New York Democrat wants it shut down.
“FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility. It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread. I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see,” AOC wrote after a post mocking her went viral.

The account is not impersonating her, it clearly marked as a parody account. But boy are the jokes mocking her driving the Congresswoman crazy.
Below is just an example of the funny jokes the parody account is posting:
- “I’m having my staff report every single tweet that makes fun of me to the DOJ.”
- “If @elonmusk wants to have a chance with me, he’ll immediately ban the parody account of me. This is like literally not funny.”
- “To make windmills more effective – when the wind doesn’t blow, we should have helicopters hover over each of them and keep them turning year round.”
- “Every time my boyfriend farts – I make him plant a tree to offset his carbon emissions.”
After it was learned that the social media company has no plans on censoring the parody account the Congresswoman reposted an article attacking Musk.
The one thing that gets the elite upset is when you mock them.
