Move over Bud Light and Target; there is a new loser in town…Fox News.

Just when you thought the network couldn’t get any more petty, they do.

First, insiders at the network leaked “embarrassing” footage that actually humanized him. Next, the new network sent a crew to his Maine studio to strip the place before his Twitter show started.

Now that Tucker’s first 10-minute show was posted on the social media platform Twitter the new network is claiming that Carlson has breached his contract.

It was reported that on June 7, 2023, Fox News informed Tucker Carlson’s attorneys that the former anchor violated his contract. Carlson’s lawyers have said that any action taken against their client would violate his First Amendment rights.

“Fox defends its very existence on freedom of speech grounds. Now they want to take Tucker Carlson’s right to speak freely away from him because he took to social media to share his thoughts on current events,” said Carlson’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, in a statement to Axios.”

There are rumors that Carlson’s firing was part of a deal in the Dominion lawsuit and that the network was hoping to sideline him until 2025.

Fox News general counsel Bernard Gugar sent a letter to Carlson’s lawyers immediately after the episode was posted on the social media platform Twitter.

“In connection with such breach and pursuant to the Agreement, Fox expressly reserves all rights and remedies which are available to it at law or equity,” the letter said.

As of the writing of this post, Tucker Carlson’s first video called “Tucker On Twitter” has been viewed 101.9 million times. In May 2023, Fox News experienced a 37% drop in viewership compared to last year averaging 1.42 million viewers in primetime.

I’m just going to leave this right here…
