Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up for some political drama! Former President Donald Trump made waves on Sunday with a bold statement on Truth Social, calling for the Republican Party to be “reimbursed for fraud.” He claimed that the Democratic Party and media surrogates forced the GOP to spend millions campaigning against President Joe Biden despite knowing he couldn’t handle another four years in office.
Trump’s fiery comments came just hours after Biden announced his decision to step down from the 2024 presidential race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump didn’t hold back, saying, “So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting Crooked Joe Biden, he polls badly after having a terrible debate, and quits the race. Now we have to start all over again.”
He then posed the question, “Shouldn’t the Republican Party be reimbursed for fraud in that everybody around Joe, including his doctors and the Fake News Media, knew he was not capable of running for, or being, President? Just askin’?”

But that wasn’t all. Trump also took aim at the upcoming debate, originally scheduled to air in September on ABC. He argued that it should be moved to Fox News. “My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September,” he posted. “Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you!”

As Biden steps aside, powerful Democrats like former President Bill Clinton and two-time nominee Hillary Clinton have endorsed Harris. However, not everyone in the party is on board. Some Democrats are pushing back against the idea that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) could bypass the voters and “anoint” Harris without their input.
