What a day for news! It’s like Christmas came early for those tired of the relentless nonsense churned out by liberal media and their enablers. Let’s start with the federal budget drama—because the horrible Continuing Resolution (CR) finally bit the dust. Cue the applause! Fiscal responsibility might still be a distant dream, but this was a rare win for the American taxpayer.
Then there’s the jaw-dropping development out of Georgia. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis—along with her entire team—was disqualified from the case against President-elect Donald Trump. That’s right, the same DA who seemed determined to stretch the boundaries of legal ethics in her crusade against Trump just got benched. It’s a crushing blow to the left’s favorite Georgia narrative and one that undoubtedly has Trump supporters smiling today. Fair play still matters, after all.
But wait—there’s more! Over in the land of cable news, the liberal media elite continue their downward spiral. MSNBC’s star personalities are taking hits left and right, both in ratings and paychecks. Rachel Maddow reportedly had to swallow a massive $5 million pay cut from her once-eye-watering $30 million annual salary. That’s a whole lot less smugness per dollar. Turns out, when the ratings go in the dumper, even the darlings of the left can’t dodge reality. Comcast is tightening the purse strings, and the ripple effect is delightful.
Joy Reid and Stephanie Ruhle are next in line for the chopping block. Both are reportedly being asked to take reduced salaries if they want to hang onto their anchor chairs. Reid’s paycheck—previously $3 million a year—is especially baffling when you consider her penchant for attacking half the country simply for supporting Trump. Who in their right mind thought her nightly anti-American rants would draw an audience? Apparently, not enough people did. Reid has hemorrhaged viewers since the election, losing nearly half her audience. MSNBC’s overall primetime ratings have plummeted by a staggering 60 percent. That’s not just a dip—it’s a nosedive into irrelevance.
NEW: Far-left MSNBC host Joy Reid will have to take a pay cut if she wants to stay in her role at the network, according to The Ankler.
The news comes after Rachel Maddow was also reportedly forced to take a $5M pay cut.

Stephanie Ruhle, making $2 million a year, isn’t faring much better. And let’s not forget Jonathan Lemire, who recently handed a co-hosting gig on Morning Joe and had to face the reality of a reduced contract. Meanwhile, the rest of MSNBC’s staff is bracing for possible layoffs. If this isn’t karma, I don’t know what is.
It’s poetic, really. For years, MSNBC has poured gasoline on the fires of division, propping up figures like Reid, who spew vitriol against everyday Americans. Now, with the network’s ratings circling the drain and budgets being slashed, the chickens are finally coming home to roost. The even juicier tidbit? Rumors that MSNBC president Rashida Jones could be out the door if Trump regains office. While the network denies the speculation, one thing’s clear: big changes are coming.
MSNBC and CNN have spent the last few years lying non-stop to their audience.
Now that they have been exposed, they have to figure out a new business model. Comcast is dumping MSNBC and their staff is being reduced and taking pay cuts. CNN is going thru massive layoffs and cost… pic.twitter.com/XRgJXfvb2F

The silver lining for MSNBC’s talking heads is that they might still have jobs—albeit with lighter paychecks. In an industry where layoffs are looming large, they should probably count themselves lucky. But let’s be real: if MSNBC can’t get its act together, these salary cuts are just the beginning. Maybe a total overhaul—or even a sale—could save the sinking ship. Until then, we’ll be over here enjoying the spectacle of leftist media eating a well-deserved slice of humble pie.
