MSNBC Hosts Panal Of Union Workers

The Kamala Harris campaign just hit another snag, and this one’s a biggie: the Teamsters decided not to endorse her. For decades, the Democrats could always count on that coveted Teamsters endorsement, no matter who was running. But not this time. Instead, they released poll results showing their members are backing former President Donald Trump. Ouch.

It’s not just the Teamsters, either. Union workers across the board seem to be hopping off the Democratic train and heading straight toward Trump. Members of the UAW, the Steamfitters, and even the typically liberal Hollywood IATSE are ditching Harris and flocking to Trump. You know it’s bad when even the Hollywood unions are looking elsewhere.

The problem? Democrats have stopped caring about the things that matter to these workers. Basic issues like the economy, the border, and just overall global chaos are taking a backseat to woke narratives and political games. And who’s paying the price? Workers. It’s no wonder they’re looking to Trump, who, for all his faults, at least talked about putting America first and backing policies that seemed to benefit them.

A perfect example of this disconnect played out in a recent MSNBC segment where Alex Wagner interviewed union workers in Michigan. She tried to push the Democratic talking points—like January 6th being the end-all-be-all of the political conversation—but the workers weren’t having any of it. Wagner asked about Trump’s “criminal charges,” likely expecting these guys to echo the media’s outrage. But instead, she got a shrug and a bit of a laugh.

“Feb. 6?” one worker quipped, deliberately playing coy. Then, when he gave a straight answer, it was simple: no, that stuff isn’t factoring into how he’s going to vote. For him and others, it’s not about what happened two years ago in Washington. It’s about what’s happening right now in their wallets and at the border.

Another worker said he knew all about the January 6th stuff but wasn’t concerned. It happened, people were upset, and that was that. While Wagner and her MSNBC friends might have wanted to turn this into a big emotional moment, the reality is that for most voters, it’s just not the priority. These workers are living through inflation, watching the border crisis worsen, and wondering why Harris and her administration are making it worse instead of fixing it.

The real kicker came when Wagner was baffled as to why one Michigan worker would care so much about immigration. After all, Michigan’s not a border state, right? That’s the kind of out-of-touch thinking that shows why Democrats are losing union support. Newsflash: illegal immigration affects every state. Whether it’s through jobs, local services, or just plain chaos, people feel it, and they’re tired of it.

The worker, in fact, was more generous to Harris than she probably deserved. He noted that she hasn’t done much to fix the immigration crisis, but it’s worse than that. Not only has she done nothing to fix it, but she’s also been a driving force behind policies that have made it worse.

This is the core problem that neither MSNBC nor the Democrats seem able to grasp. Things under Trump were better. The economy was stronger, the border was more secure, and inflation wasn’t through the roof. People lived through those years, and now they’re comparing them to the present. You can’t spin that away with a few soundbites on cable news. Workers aren’t stupid. They see what’s happening, and no amount of media fluff is going to change their minds.
