As Joe Biden prepares to make his first State of the Union Address to Congress, House Republicans are also preparing for a timely investigation into the Biden family’s alleged influence peddling.

Undoubtedly, this topic has been a sore point for Conservatives — alleged social media collusion to suppress information tied to Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, a damaged MacBook Pro, which was dropped off at a Delaware repair shop and never recovered.
House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, stated in a recent interview that the Biden family has sold “access for profit around the world to the detriment of American interests.” Democrats are attempting to block the gravity of this investigation by accusing the GOP of political revenge.
The investigation is focusing on Twitter Inc. officials who limited distribution and blocked user access to a 2020 New York Post article about the shady business activities within the Biden family. Facebook also restricted the ability of users to share the Post story.
The Post’s front-page article focused on an email obtained from a copy of a laptop hard drive indicating that Hunter Biden introduced a top executive from Burisma to his father while he was vice president.
Twitter received backlash for the move and later revised its policy, while former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said that blocking links to the story was wrong. In one of his early moves as Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk released internal emails showing there was dissension within the company over restricting access to the Post article.
The Biden administration and Big Tech have been working together to try to suppress and hide information about the Biden family’s suspicious business schemes and Joe Biden’s involvement. Not surprisingly, Biden has denied any knowledge of his son’s business dealings.
The hearing is set for February 8, and several former Twitter officials are expected to testify. It remains to be seen what will come of the investigation, and how Biden will recover from the deserved onslaught headed his way, if at all.
