One moment she’s vehemently against the border wall, calling it un-American, medieval, and a waste of taxpayer money. Next thing you know, she’s singing a different tune, pledging to spend hundreds of millions to complete the very project she once bashed.

Remember back in 2019, when Harris declared the border wall a “stupid use of money”? Or how about her 2020 Facebook post where she said Trump’s wall “won’t make us any safer”? Fast forward to today, and suddenly Harris is all in on continuing the wall, supporting a bill that pretty much enshrines Trump’s vision. It’s like she woke up one morning and decided, “You know what? Maybe that guy was onto something.”

It’s not just about the wall, either. Harris has a history of swerving on her positions whenever it suits her. From Medicare for All to banning fracking, she’s taken a stance and then quietly tiptoed away when the political winds changed direction. But this latest flip-flop on the border wall really takes the cake. It’s as if she’s trying to erase her own past words, hoping voters won’t notice the about-face.

Even Jon Karl from ABC seemed stunned by Harris’s attempt to spin her border record. She’s now running ads that make it look like she’s been tough on border security all along. But let’s be real—when it was actually her job to deal with the border, it was a disaster. The administration halted the wall’s construction, causing a border crisis that spiraled out of control. And now, in a move that smacks of desperation, she’s backing a bill to continue building that same wall.


But why the sudden change? It’s clear as day: Harris is trying to rebrand herself ahead of the next election. She’s attempting to shed her image as a far-left liberal and look more centrist. But is anyone buying it? Not likely. Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, called her out, labeling her a “fake” and challenging her to start building the wall right now if she’s so serious about it. And honestly, he’s got a point.

So what’s the takeaway here? Kamala Harris is trying to have it both ways, but in doing so, she’s only showing how far she’s willing to go to pander to voters. It’s a political ploy, plain and simple. And if the reactions on social media are anything to go by, people aren’t falling for it. The flip-flopping is just too blatant to ignore.
