The Supreme Court ruling on Monday has further proved that the radical Democrats are intent on taking down former President Donald Trump at any cost.
In a unanimous decision, the court has blocked attempts by three states to prevent Trump from appearing on primary ballots, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. And of course, liberal lawmakers are already plotting their next move.
In a spine-chilling statement, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has promised to revive legislation that would prevent anyone guilty of participating in an “insurrection” from running for president.
However, Trump has not been convicted of anything as of yet. That’s right, folks. The Democrats are now trying to change the rules to prevent their political opponents from even being allowed to run for office.
Raskin believes that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which states that anyone who engages in insurrection or rebellion cannot serve in federal or state office, should be applied to Trump. How dare they twist the words of our Constitution to fit their own agendas. This is a clear violation of the rights of American citizens to choose their own leaders.
But Raskin is not alone in this deranged quest. He is working with other radical Democrats like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eric Swalwell to revive this unjust legislation. And they are using Trump’s impeachment trial as their supposed justification. Never mind the fact that the Senate has already failed to convict Trump for the same charge and no other court has found him guilty.

These Democrats will stop at nothing to silence their political opponents. They have already impeached Trump once and failed to remove him from office. But now, they are trying to use the 14th Amendment as a weapon to permanently ban him from running for any office. What’s next? Stripping Trump of his citizenship?
It is a sad state of affairs when our elected officials are actively trying to disenfranchise millions of American voters. And we can only hope that the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will not allow this travesty to come to a vote in the House.
