Well, here we go again. Representative Jerry Nadler is clutching his pearls because the big, bad Trump administration had the audacity to—wait for it—check on the safety of a federal building after credible reports of protest activity.
You’d think the DHS sent in tanks and helicopters the way he’s carrying on. But no, the Federal Protective Service, whose entire job is to secure federal facilities, responded to a report of protesters at the very location of Nadler’s office. And somehow that’s the end of democracy as we know it?
Let’s get this straight. Federal officers responded to an active protest in a shared building. They were let into the office, encountered four people, and one of them decided it was a great idea to get confrontational and block their access. Now, you don’t have to be a constitutional law scholar—or even someone who’s watched an episode of Cops—to know that when law enforcement is trying to perform a security check, physically impeding them isn’t the way to go. But according to Nadler, this was less about ensuring safety and more about jackbooted thuggery by Trump’s stormtroopers.
Of course, Nadler wasted no time turning this into political theater. The man could find a camera during a blackout. He dramatically accuses the Trump administration of “sowing chaos” and “using intimidation tactics.” Never mind that the officers were responding to a disturbance that had already prompted concern. Never mind that everyone was released shortly afterward and no charges were filed. The real outrage, in his view, is that his staff isn’t immune to the same rules and procedures that every other citizen has to follow.
Let’s talk about that video for a second. FPS officers mention the staff was “harboring rioters,” and Nadler’s office confirmed the person detained was a staffer. So, if your team is cozying up to protestors in a federal building, maybe it’s not the best idea to barricade the door and then act surprised when someone gets cuffed. And cue the waterworks—literally. The arrested staffer is heard crying on the video. If that’s what passes for courage in today’s Democratic congressional offices, no wonder the left’s approach to law and order is basically one long therapy session.
🚨 WOW: DHS RAIDED Democrat Rep. Jerry Nadler’s office, accusing him of harboring rioters
One of his aides attempted to OBSTRUCT the DHS officers by pushing them, and she ended up in handcuffs 🔥

And naturally, Nadler used this whole episode to slam Trump for enforcing immigration law—because why stick to the facts when you can go full-on campaign mode? He calls for an end to the expedited removal process, claiming it “denies due process” to illegal immigrants and—somehow—U.S. citizens.
That’s a neat rhetorical trick. The guy turns a routine security check into a constitutional crisis. Meanwhile, thousands of illegal immigrants are pouring across the border unchecked, and Nadler wants to talk about someone briefly handcuffed after obstructing federal officers?
Then there’s this clown:
This is how it started in 1930s Germany. An aide to Rep. Jerry Nadler was hancuffed by federal agents in the congressman’s Manhattan office under the false accusation that she was “harboring rioters.” 😳👇 pic.twitter.com/4uyUfSPI4p

Here’s the bottom line: Nadler and his ilk love chaos when it serves their agenda. They cheer when activists shut down courthouses or occupy city streets. But the moment federal officers dare to enforce the law—even in a restrained, non-lethal, by-the-book way—they cry foul and accuse the administration of tyranny. It’s all so predictable, and it’s getting old.
No one is above the law. Not illegal immigrants. Not Congressional staffers. And not grandstanding congressmen who think yelling “Trump!” is a substitute for leadership.
