CBS Releases Unedited Transcript and Video Of Harris Video

Well, what do you know? After months of dodging, deflecting, and hoping the controversy would just disappear, CBS News has finally caved and released the unredacted transcripts and raw video footage of Kamala Harris’ now-infamous interview with 60 Minutes anchor Bill Whitaker. And why, exactly, did it take this long? Because CBS was stonewalling requests from both the public and President Donald Trump, who had been demanding transparency over what looked like yet another case of the media protecting Democrats at all costs.

But surprise, surprise—just days after reports surfaced that CBS might be looking to settle Trump’s lawsuit over the interview, the network suddenly decided to “come clean” and post the full, unedited footage. That’s called getting caught red-handed. And judging by the internal drama over at CBS, not everyone is happy about it.

According to CNN’s Brian Stelter (who, let’s be honest, never met a left-wing media outlet he wouldn’t run cover for), some CBS employees were furious about the idea of settling with Trump, with one insider reportedly saying: “Trump’s lawsuit was a joke, but if we settle, we become the laughingstock.”

News flash: you already are.

CBS tried to save face with a carefully worded statement, insisting that 60 Minutes wasn’t being “deceitful” and that their selective editing was simply done for “time, space, or clarity.” Right. Because if there’s one thing corporate media is known for, it’s their commitment to brevity and conciseness. Never mind that one of the promo clips they initially released didn’t match any part of the final broadcast—meaning they either completely reworked Kamala’s answer or chose to omit something inconvenient. Either way, that’s not journalism—it’s propaganda.

And what was the big controversy they were trying to hide? A simple question about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and whether he was “listening” to the Biden-Harris administration. Seems like a pretty straightforward inquiry, right? Except the version that aired on Face the Nation included a longer portion of Kamala’s response, while 60 Minutes conveniently shortened it to, let’s say, make her sound a little more competent than she actually was.

Because that’s what this is really about: damage control. We all know Kamala Harris is a walking PR disaster. Every time she speaks, it’s a word salad disaster zone—full of rambling, circular logic that somehow manages to say nothing at all. And when she’s put on the spot, it’s even worse. CBS knew this. That’s why they massaged the footage, carefully trimming the fat to make her look like she could string two coherent sentences together.

But they got caught. And now, in a desperate attempt to rewrite history, they’re claiming they were just making “reasonable edits” like any good news outlet would. Sorry, but no one’s buying that. The only reason they’re releasing the raw footage now is because Trump put them on blast and backed them into a legal corner. Otherwise, we’d still be stuck with the “trust us, we’re the media” version of events.

And let’s not pretend this is some isolated incident. The corporate press has been rigging interviews and manipulating narratives for decades to protect their chosen candidates and destroy their opponents. They buried the Hunter Biden laptop story right before the 2020 election. They edited Trump’s speeches to make him sound like a raving lunatic while running interference for Biden every time he fumbled his way through a sentence. This is what they do, and it’s exactly why the American people no longer trust them.

So, CBS can put out all the carefully worded statements they want, but the damage is already done. The only thing they’ve proven is that if you put enough pressure on the corporate media, they’ll eventually crack—because deep down, they know they have everything to hide.
