Bill Clinton Heads To Georgia For Rally

Well, well, well—looks like Bill Clinton accidentally stumbled onto the truth for once. While stumping for Kamala Harris on Monday, Clinton admitted that 22-year-old Georgia student Laken Riley’s murder “probably wouldn’t have happened” if migrants had been properly vetted. Bingo, Bill! Of course, he was trying to defend Harris’s disastrous record as border czar, but instead, he delivered a rare moment of honesty that the Democrats likely weren’t too thrilled about.

The accused killer, Jose Ibarra, had crossed into the U.S. illegally in 2022 and was promptly released into the interior. And that’s not exactly a shocking story these days, is it? Since Biden and Harris took office, the floodgates have been wide open. Illegal migrants, asylum-seekers with bogus claims, violent criminals—you name it, they’re waltzing in with virtually no questions asked. But here we have Bill Clinton, mid-speech, admitting that if we actually vetted these folks, tragedies like Riley’s murder could’ve been avoided. Oops.

Naturally, Clinton didn’t stop there. In true Clinton fashion, he tried to shift the blame—this time to Donald Trump, claiming Trump was responsible for killing a “bipartisan border bill” that Democrats swear would’ve solved everything. Nice try, Bill, but let’s not forget that Trump’s policies did more to protect our borders than anything we’ve seen from the current administration. From the Migrant Protection Protocols (better known as “Remain in Mexico”) to tough asylum rules, Trump set up safeguards specifically to keep people like Ibarra out of the country.

But when Biden and Kamala Harris took over, they shredded those policies faster than you can say “open borders.” The Remain in Mexico program? Gone. And now, almost anyone who shows up claiming asylum gets a free pass into the U.S., regardless of how flimsy their case is—or how dangerous their background might be.

Clinton’s attempt to cover for Harris’s disastrous border policies went off the rails even further when he tried to justify this open-border madness by saying that America isn’t “having enough babies to keep our populations up.” Oh, please. So, we’re supposed to let in waves of unvetted migrants, some of whom are violent criminals, just to pad the population numbers? That’s a hard pass.

And here’s the kicker: Clinton admitted that Harris failed at her one big job as border czar—getting countries to push their migrants into a legal process so we wouldn’t be stuck with people like Ibarra. Instead of owning up to Harris’s failure, though, he blamed traffickers, saying they “made a lot of money” off the situation. Nice deflection, but it doesn’t change the fact that Harris dropped the ball.

The Democrats have trotted out their big guns—first Barack Obama, now Bill Clinton—to make the case for Harris, but so far, both have failed miserably. Maybe, just maybe, the real issue is that there isn’t a good argument to be made for her at all.
