So there it is — finally — someone said it out loud.
On a quiet podcast episode that absolutely did not stay quiet, President Donald Trump looked straight into the rhetorical camera and uttered the words that have been simmering on the back burner for almost a decade: maybe jailing Hillary Clinton wasn’t such a crazy idea after all.
And if you think that was the peak of the conversation, buckle up. We’re just getting started.
Let’s set the scene. Trump, now reinvigorated, sitting across from Miranda Devine on her “Pod Force One” podcast, just casually drops this political landmine: “We had Hillary Clinton down to whatever we wanted to do with her.” That’s not a throwaway line. That’s the president saying, point blank, that he had the power, the evidence, and the opportunity — and he chose to walk away.
For what? Unity. Healing. The greater good.

Trump didn’t want to make the country look like a banana republic by jailing a former First Lady. Let that irony marinate for a second. The same man the media and half of Washington has spent years trying to indict on everything from bad phone calls to “mean tweets” chose, in 2016, to not prosecute his political opponent — and now he’s the one sitting under more investigations than a mob boss.
And now he’s rethinking that choice.
Can you blame him?
Because let’s be honest: Russiagate wasn’t just dirty politics. It was a full-blown intelligence operation against a sitting president, coordinated at the highest levels of government. Tulsi Gabbard, now Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, just declassified a truckload of documents that lay it all out — the dossiers, the planted stories, the deliberate leaking to the press. A coup in slow motion, carried out with smug smiles and government titles.
And who was right in the center of it all?
Hillary Clinton. The same Hillary Clinton who, according to newly unsealed files, signed off on the plan to paint Trump as a Kremlin puppet to distract from her own email scandal. The same Clinton who now gets to walk red carpets and tweet snark from the sidelines while Trump supporters sat through years of media propaganda and Mueller theatrics.
Trump says he “killed it” — the investigation into her. But now? “I just want to be fair.”
Translation: the gloves are coming off.

But wait, there’s more. Tulsi’s not just releasing the documents and walking away. She’s referring every last one of these power players to the Department of Justice for potential prosecution. That includes Clinton. Brennan. Comey. Oh — and Barack Obama himself, though we all know presidential immunity is the ultimate Get Out of Jail Free card.
Still, there’s a strike force in place now, appointed by none other than Attorney General Pam Bondi — a name we haven’t heard in a while but may want to start remembering. She’s already working with Gabbard to dig through the mess and follow the evidence, no matter how high it goes.
Bondi says no stone will be left unturned. Gabbard says it was a coup.
And Trump? He’s no longer saying “Lock her up” at rallies for show.
He’s reminding the world that he could have — and chose not to.
But maybe next time… he won’t hesitate.
