Well, well, well—looks like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is about to do the unthinkable: clean house at the Pentagon. And by “clean house,” I mean actually holding generals accountable for turning the U.S. military into a social experiment instead of, you know, a lethal fighting force.
Naturally, the usual suspects in the media are clutching their pearls, gasping that Hegseth might—gasp—fire more than a half-dozen generals. How will our military ever survive without the woke bureaucrats who spent the last few years making sure we had the most inclusive force possible instead of the most effective one?
CNN, of course, is in full meltdown mode, speculating that this shake-up will be focused on purging any top brass who spent more time pushing DEI nonsense than preparing for actual warfare. The left-leaning establishment, which spent the Biden years praising the military for its “progressive” transformation, now suddenly believes in the sacred untouchability of military leadership. Funny how that works.
One of the biggest names potentially on the chopping block? Gen. CQ Brown, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Before even taking office, Hegseth made it clear where he stood on Brown’s leadership: “First of all, you’ve got to fire the chairman of the Joint Chiefs … But any general … that was involved in any of the DEI woke s*** has got to go … That’s the only litmus test we care about.”
For anyone who’s been paying attention, that’s not exactly surprising. Brown was one of the architects of the military’s DEI push, prioritizing race-based promotions and social justice initiatives while recruitment plummeted and global threats escalated. But sure, let’s pretend this guy was indispensable.
Then there’s Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the first woman to serve as Chief of Naval Operations. Naturally, her defenders are already playing the gender card, shrieking that if she’s let go, there will be no female four-star officers in the entire U.S. military. To which normal people respond: So what? If naval operations suffered under her watch—which Hegseth himself pointed out in his 2024 book—then her qualifications (or lack thereof) should matter more than the diversity points she brought to the table. If she’s a competent leader, great. If not, she can find another line of work, just like everyone else who fails at their job.
Of course, this isn’t just about firing people. Hegseth’s office has reportedly been floating potential replacements, including Gen. Samuel Paparo of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Gen. Erik Kurilla of U.S. Central Command. Both are considered serious, warfighting-minded leaders, which is exactly what the Pentagon should be looking for if the goal is to rebuild American military dominance instead of turning boot camp into a seminar on “toxic masculinity.”
🚨 BREAKING: Do you support stripping security clearances and demoting everyone who committed treasonous actions, starting with Gen. Mark Milley?
YES or NO?

Meanwhile, a small contingent from the Department of Government Efficiency project (DOGE—because, of course) is already coordinating with Pentagon officials on office space and budget assessments. Translation: This isn’t just about personnel changes. The broader goal is to root out the rot, from top leadership down to the endless bureaucratic bloat that’s turned the Pentagon into a bloated, slow-moving mess.
The American people charged @POTUS who instructed me to return our military to the most lethal, elite, and spectacular fighting force on planet earth.
That is what you are going to get! You also deserve FULL transparency, and you will always get that from this defense… https://t.co/oL2gnAZCxK

The bottom line is this: America needs warriors, not activists. Our military’s mission isn’t to be “diverse” or “representative” of every possible identity group—it’s to win wars. Hegseth understands that, which is why the left is panicking. They know the days of unchecked social engineering in the armed forces might finally be coming to an end. And that, more than anything, is why this shake-up is absolutely necessary.
