It was only a matter of time.
Two illegal immigrants rammed vehicles into federal law enforcement agents during ICE operations in the Chicago area this week. Yes, rammed. As in weaponized their cars and went full Grand Theft Auto on federal agents just trying to do their jobs. According to the Department of Homeland Security, these were deliberate attacks—an outright attempt to injure or kill. And yet… we’re supposed to pretend like this is just another day in the progressive utopia that is “Sanctuary Chicago.”
Let’s stop pretending this is normal.
The men involved? One from Mexico. One from Guatemala. Neither of them stopped at the border. Neither of them vetted. Neither of them should’ve been here. And now they’re facing federal assault charges—because apparently, that’s what it takes to get noticed by law enforcement in a sanctuary city these days.
But here’s the real kicker: this is what happens when elected officials glorify lawlessness and vilify the people actually trying to enforce the law.
Thanks to Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson—and the rest of the “compassionate” crowd—it’s now trendy to obstruct ICE. It’s heroic to resist arrest. And it’s bold to attack law enforcement. Because in their worldview, it’s the illegal aliens who are the victims, and ICE agents are just a bunch of thugs with badges.
Sound crazy? It is. But don’t look away now—because it gets worse.
DHS says these attacks are not isolated. They’re part of a 1,000% spike in assaults on ICE agents. Not 10%. Not 100%. A thousand. And guess what? These are the same agents who are told to tread lightly, smile politely, and operate in neighborhoods that treat them like invaders rather than public servants.
And yet somehow, the outrage from the Left is still aimed at ICE—not the criminals trying to mow them down.
Let that sink in.
You’d think, after 900 arrests in “Operation Midway Blitz,” people might stop pretending this isn’t a crisis. But no. For the media and the woke political class, the real danger isn’t violent illegals—it’s “xenophobia.” It’s “racial profiling.” It’s enforcing the actual law.
Forget the agents dodging cars. Let’s talk about feelings, shall we?
And it’s not like this is some minor political sideshow. This is happening in the middle of a massive federal operation aimed at reclaiming control of our cities from people who never should’ve been here to begin with. But instead of cooperation, ICE gets sneers from the governor’s mansion and side-eyes from the mayor’s office.
What’s the message here?
If you’re here illegally, Chicago will shield you. If you attack a federal agent, don’t worry—local officials will question the agent’s conduct. And if you manage to get yourself on the news for committing a felony during an immigration sweep, chances are, someone will start a GoFundMe for your legal fees by lunchtime.
Let’s be honest—this is the result of years of spineless leadership, open-border virtue signaling, and selective outrage. These attacks didn’t happen in a vacuum. They were born from a culture that tells people enforcement is optional and consequences are negotiable.
Well, not anymore.

ICE isn’t backing down. Not this time. Over 900 arrests and counting. More on the way. And yes, both of these attackers are headed straight toward deportation. As they should be. And maybe, just maybe, it’s time sanctuary cities take a hard look in the mirror.
We’re standing with ICE, DHS, and President Trump — thank you, Mr. President, for stepping in where local leadership failed.
South Shore is what happens when corruption meets sanctuary policies — and now the truth is out.
Next, we want a forensic audit on every dollar this city… pic.twitter.com/5f3wfUzSzP

Because this isn’t compassion. It’s chaos.
And it’s coming to a neighborhood near you.
