The Hidden Document Found in 2004
A secret plan to destroy Western civilization from within was uncovered in an FBI raid. The document was found in 2004 at the home of Ismail Elbarasse in Falls Church, Virginia. This man led a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood designed to support Hamas. The group called itself the Palestine Committee. The FBI seized the paper during a major investigation into Islamic terrorism funding.
“An Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America” is the title of the paper. It lists 29 specific organizations needed to achieve this goal. The very first group on that list is the Islamic Society of North America. This group held its 63rd annual convention in Detroit from September 4 to 7.
The Words Written in 1991
The document outlines a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” meant to end our way of life. Mohamed Akram wrote these words in the memo on May 22, 1991. He declared that the Ikhwan must grasp their mission as a “grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.” The goal is to sabotage the house with the hands of believers.
According to Townhall, this document surfaced during the largest Islamic terrorism funding trial in U.S. history. The Holy Land Foundation trial took place in 2008 in North Texas. Several men were found guilty and sent to prison for their roles. The document was translated and entered as evidence by prosecutors.
The Groups Still Operating Today
The Council on American-Islamic Relations was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in that 2008 trial. Nevertheless, CAIR maintains a national office on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and Townhall observes that the Democrat Party nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan addressed the recent convention. Abdul El-Sayed shared the stage with the mayor of Dearborn, Michigan.
Such leaders addressed an organization founded through the strategic memorandum of an Islamic terror group. The plan links the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the 9/11 attacks to this timeline. The bombing happened two years after the memo was written. The 9/11 attacks occurred ten years after the document was created.
Why the Confusion Matters Now
Many people in the West see kind neighbors and assume the threat is fake. They hear clerics talk about global ambitions but ignore the written proof. A Daily Wire writer notes that Muslims are often taught to be hospitable and kind. He recalls paying for a lost tourist’s cab fare in Jordan when he was a child.
This kindness creates a blind spot for many Americans who know good Muslims personally. They separate the nice people they know from the violent acts committed by others. They treat the violence as a fringe problem with little to do with the faith itself. But the document shows a clear strategy to destroy the West from the inside.
The strategy relies on the very groups that speak at conventions and run offices today. Believe them the first time whenever someone reveals who they are. The plan is not hidden in the past. It is active in the present. We must look at the names on the list and see the pattern. The memo says the work is a grand jihad. We must ask if our leaders are reading the same words.
