WWIII FEARS: Joe Biden Threatens Military Conflict with China

It’s not hard to imagine that the world is on the precipice of something disturbing at the moment, as conflicts of enormous gravity continue to flare up from pole to pole.

There is, of course, the Russian invasion of Ukraine:  A crisis whose tentacles have invaded the diplomatic calculus of a great many nations around the globe.

But now, as China continues to brood over Taiwan, (while not-so-subtly telegraphing their own potential invasion), US President Joe Biden has made a whopper of a statement…and it has many wondering if World War III is right around the corner.

President Biden stated that the U.S. will send the military to defend Taiwan if the People’s Republic of China were to invade the island nation.

“Very quickly, you didn’t want to get involved in the Ukraine conflict militarily for obvious reasons. Are you willing to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan if it comes to that?” a reporter asked the president during a news conference in Japan.

“Yes,” Biden replied.

And Biden was certain.

“You are?” the reporter pressed.

“That’s the commitment we made,” the president said.

The matter-of-fact response was cause for alarm, with Twitter users openly lamenting Biden’s willingness to guide us directly in to the gaping maw of World War III – especially knowing that Russia and China have been cozying up to one another in recent years.
