As we continue to roll into the cooler months in the northern hemisphere, a great many nations will be celebrating the last real hurrah before we begin the stressful slog of the holiday season.
It’s Halloween, of course, and between the sultry and silly costumes, the candy, and the spooky stories, the usually cheery celebration tends to usher us into autumn in a distinct and favorable way.
Now, as ghouls and goblins are the talk of the town, one pub in England has released a wild new video that purports to show a pesky spirit rearranging the furniture while no one is around.
An odd video from a nightclub in England shows a chair inexplicably moving on its own and some suspect that a ghost was behind the eerie moment. According to a local media report, the odd incident was captured by a security camera at Popworld in the city of York last week and the establishment subsequently posted the footage on their Facebook page. In the video, the manager of the nightclub can be seen leaving the room and, shortly thereafter, a chair slowly slides across the floor. In sharing the video on social media, the nightclub declared that “even the ghosts of Popworld know Halloween is around the corner!”
The video was soon making the rounds online:
Some of the more cynical viewers weren’t convinced, however, and were suggesting that the pub may have been attempting to conjure a little extra business during the spooky season.
