US Metropolis Now MANDATING Vaccines for EVERYONE!

Given the angst and distrust that the American people have for their various state, local, and federal governments, you would think that there would be a concerted effort among our community leaders to push back on some of the harmful stereotypes that got us there.

For instance, with a great many Americans concerned that the powers that be are using the coronavirus as a method of control over their constituents, possibly in an attempt to influence economic outcomes of our nation, it would behoove leaders to begin to ease off of the COVID restrictions that have long been in place.  This is especially true now that we are undeniably in the latter, waning stages of the crisis.

But no.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday issued a “preemptive strike,” mandating that all private sector employees in the Big Apple be vaccinated against COVID-19 amid the new threat posed by the omicron variant beginning Dec. 27.

De Blasio, whose term is set to expire in a matter of weeks, broke the news during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday morning.

The mayor was trying his damndest to defend the decision.

“We’ve got omicron as a new factor, we’ve got the colder weather, which is going to really create additional challenges with the delta variant, we’ve got holiday gatherings,” de Blasio said.

“We in NYC have decided to use a preemptive strike to really do something bold to stop the further growth of COVID,” de Blasio said.

The move will almost surely instigate heavy protests in The Big Apple, and will likely affect any future political plans that de Blasio may have.
