Trump SLAMS Fox News After Chris Wallace Says THIS!

President Trump maintained a seemingly positive relationship with Fox News throughout much of his first term in the White House, but all that is beginning to change.

As of late, there have been murmurs of disagreement with the Commander in Chief coming from deep within the conservative network.  The sudden adjustment seems to be most notably coming from longtime anchor Chris Wallace, and President Trump has certainly noticed.

President Trump lashed out at Fox News anchor Chris Wallace on Sunday, calling the “Fox News Sunday” host a “Mike Wallace wannabe,” a reference to Chris Wallace’s late father.

In a tweet following the program’s episode on Sunday, Trump quipped that it was a “new ballgame” at Fox News, his latest insinuation that the network’s coverage of his presidency has turned negative.

“Just watched Mike Wallace wannabe, Chris Wallace, on @FoxNews,” Trump tweeted. “I am now convinced that he is even worse than Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd of Meet the Press(please!), or the people over at Deface the Nation. What the hell is happening to @FoxNews. It’s a whole new ballgame over there!”

While the President didn’t reference a specific comment by Wallace, there was one moment that may very well have caught his eye and drawn his ire.

A representative from Fox News declined to comment but pointed to Wallace’s past responses to the president’s criticism and references to his father, the veteran CBS News journalist.

“To which my reaction is always: One of us has a daddy problem, and it’s not me,” Wallace quipped in response when asked about Trump’s tweets during a panel discussion.

Of course, this begs the question as to whether or not insulting a President whose prone to responding is the best use of our time during a global pandemic.
