As President Trump continues to build hype toward a potential 2024 run for the White House, there are plenty of Americans out there still who have unfinished business with the 2020 contest.
Trump himself has repeatedly suggested that the election was “stolen” from him, sometimes blaming Democratic balloting measures, other times blaming Dominion Voting Systems, and often both.
Now, a series of stunts at MLB baseball stadiums appears to suggest that Trump isn’t the only one who still ascribes to this belief.
A fan was kicked out of Fenway Park in Boston on Monday after unfurling a banner that read “Trump Won Save America.”
The fan, who has not been identified, unfurled the banner over the center field wall at the home of the Boston Red Sox during the fourth inning of the team’s win over the Miami Marlins, according to WMUR.
A team spokesperson said the act constituted a violation of the Red Sox’s policy prohibiting signs of any kind from being hung or affixed to the ballpark, and the person was immediately removed from the ballpark.
Video of the incident was soon available online.
As it turns out, this is at least the third incident of its kind, with both Citi Field and the Yankees’ stadium having played host to such antics just weeks ago.
