Top US Military Leaders Issue CRYSTAL CLEAR Statement on Inauguration

So, what happens if Donald Trump refuses to leave office?  He just simply decides that he’s not going to leave.  Drag him out if you have to.  What then?

Or worse, what would happen if the Commander in Chief of our armed forces attempted to use the military to overthrow the government itself?  Arrest the House and Senate for “treason” and send them to Gitmo?  Is that the sort of thing that is even possible?  Did January 6th push us to have to consider this?

The Joint Chiefs of Staff have now released a blunt statement on any military action that could be conjured in the coming days, and they’ve made it extremely clear where their allegiance lies.

In an extraordinary letter Tuesday to the U.S. military, the nation’s top commanders condemned last week’s acts of “sedition and insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol, while acknowledging Joe Biden’s election victory.

The message did not mention President Donald Trump by name, but the Joint Chiefs of Staff, led by U.S. Army Gen. Mark Milley, made it clear that the military intends to stand by the constitutional transfer of power to the next administration.

“As we have done throughout our history, the U.S. military will obey lawful orders from civilian leadership, support civilian authorities to protect lives and property, ensure public safety in accordance with the law, and remain fully committed to protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” wrote the nation’s highest military officers.

The full text of the letter was soon circulating on social media.

This sort of public statement is far outside of the realm of normalcy for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and will undoubtedly make its rounds in the ranks at full throttle.
