Things Go from Bad To Worse at CNN…Another Scandal

It’s been a bad couple of years for CNN, and things are going from bad to worse.

CNN CEO Chris Licht must be wondering why in the world he was willing to take the helm of this sinking ship. His so-called attempt to bring the network back to being a news network is being thwarted at every turn by bad personnel.

Licht certainly fired his share of employees like Brian Stelter and John Harwood already, but apparently not enough.

The ratings for the network are the lowest they have been in nine years and now Don Lemon is throwing tantrums and may be gone soon as well.

Lemon was demoted to a morning show where he co-hosts with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins.

Now add this to the mix of mess, the top producer of Jake Tapper’s show is in a brewing scandal.

It was a scandal that forced Jeff Zucker out of his leadership at the network. He was in a relationship with one of his subordinates, another top executive, Allison Gollust.

Here is the new report: “Jake Tapper’s executive producer, Federico Quadrani, was ousted from the news network last week, after it came to light he’d been hooking up with a subordinate, according to sources from Fox and the NY Post.

A CNN insider told Fox News Digital that “complaints were made” about Quadrani, and last Wednesday someone brought direct evidence of the inappropriate relationship directly to Tapper.

Tapper went right to human resources and informed executives and his top producer was fired.

CNN declined to comment when reached by Fox News Digital.

The Post said that Quadrani was Tapper’s “right hand man” who worked with the CNN anchor for a decade.

Tapper joined CNN in 2013 after a tenure at ABC News. One wonders how much longer he will stay at the sinking network.
