Mass shootings like the recent one at a Nashville Christian school can never really make any sense. But a likely motive for this tragedy has now been uncovered.
The shooter has been identified as a 28-year-old “transgender man,” therefore we are focused on a biological female. Many are asking what would drive a person to murder children.
The speculation surrounding this mass shooting has just been that this transgender person was acting out based on a political motive. And law enforcement is now backing that theory up with evidence. There seem to be too many “coincidences” to ignore, like being a Christian school and the shooting coming on the heels of Tennessee passing a bill banning so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.
As the first solid details of a possible motive come in, everything is pointing in the direction of a politicized hate crime.
The shooter, Audrey Hale, was in confrontation with her Christian parents who “couldn’t accept” she was gay and transgender, according to some news sources.
Hale’s mother, Norma, 61, is a church coordinator. She and her husband, Ronald, 64, did not let their daughter dress as a man in their home.
So it seems that Hale let the anger with her parents be taken out on children in a Christian school. And it is reported that her ultimate plan included killing her parents as well.
She never got to that part of the plan because of the bravery of the police.
The left seems to have created an environment where transgender people feel justified in physically harming those who don’t agree with their decisions. There have even been calls for a “Trans Day of Vengeance.”
So it seems that this was a hate crime, and it will be interesting to see if the authorities treat it as such.
