Souza Deactivates Social Media Account

Hello everyone. The left is just a font of conspiracy theories. It would almost be funny if it weren’t so damaging, like the “Russia collusion” narrative that caused so much harm to our country.

Now, they’re at it again, this time with the Trump assassination attempt. You’ve got folks thinking it was staged. Let’s conveniently ignore the fact that Corey Comperatore was killed, two others were injured, and the shooter was taken out. And let’s not forget the numerous witnesses on site.

Then we have the “ear truthers” — the people who refuse to believe that Trump was grazed by a bullet. This, despite clear evidence: Trump had blood on his ear, was treated at the hospital, his former doctor confirmed subsequent care, there’s a photo reportedly showing the bullet, and the FBI affirmed he was hit. You would think that would be enough proof. But even if it had been shrapnel, it wouldn’t change the fact that it was an assassination attempt, a fact these people seem determined to deny or downplay.

But wait, there’s another theory spreading out of the “ear truther” conspiracy. Seriously, these folks are just bats.

Pete Souza, the White House photographer under Barack Obama, has a history of questionable tweets. But he went all in on this one when he posted a picture of Trump’s ear, feeding into the conspiracy, as reported by our sister site Twitchy. After catching significant backlash for pushing such nonsense, Souza appeared to deactivate his account.

Souza claimed he was posting a picture taken the morning of July 27, writing, “Look closely at his ear that was ‘hit’ by a bullet from an AR-15 assault rifle.” It’s hard to tell from a picture at that distance about the injury to the ear or whether it was a graze. Townhall’s Rebecca Downs was among those who questioned Souza’s motives.

Of course, this set the unhinged folks on the left into conspiracy theory overdrive. They claimed that Elon Musk had suspended Souza to silence him for sharing the picture. If someone is suspended, it says so on the account. If someone deactivates their own account, it says, “This account doesn’t exist,” which is exactly what Souza’s account shows. But that didn’t stop the conspiracy theorists from attacking Musk and calling to “Free Pete Souza,” despite clear evidence that he wasn’t suspended.

And guess who jumped on the bandwagon to spread this nonsense? Former Congress member Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), of course. No, Adam, you’re peddling something not supported by evidence. It’s amusing that he doesn’t recognize what a suspended account looks like despite spending so much time on X.

The most ridiculous claims came from those saying that if Trump had been hit by a bullet from an AR-15, it would have ripped his ear off, blown out his eardrum, or snapped his neck. These people clearly have no idea what they’re talking about. But that’s the left for you, always willing to jump to conclusions without a shred of evidence.

Stay tuned, folks. The conspiracy theories aren’t going anywhere, but neither is our commitment to calling them out for what they are—utter nonsense.
