It was only a few years ago that Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters kicked the progressive protests into high gear, awakening the liberal prey-drive by compelling her constituents to seek out opportunities to make conservatives “uncomfortable” in their daily lives.
The comments were almost immediately lambasted by the Republican Party, but the damage had been done. The cat was out of the bag. Soon, Sarah Huckabee Sanders found herself being run out of a Virginia restaurant by angry Democratic voters. Other incidents followed, as a spree of activist anger led to high profile escapes by conservative figures.
This week, the tactic returned, interrupting a Supreme Court justice’s dinner.
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh exited a Washington, D.C., steakhouse this week through the back door due to protesters, reported Politico.
The outlet’s Playbook newsletter reported on Friday that Kavanaugh “was dining at Morton’s downtown D.C. location” as “protesters soon showed up out front, called the manager to tell him to kick Kavanaugh out and later tweeted that the justice was forced to exit through the rear of the restaurant.”
Liberal protest groups were gloating online.
“We hear Kavanaugh snuck out the back with his security detail. @mortons should be ashamed for welcoming a man who so clearly hates women,” tweeted ShutDownDC.
The owner of the restaurant blasted the protesters, calling the act of interrupting the entire restaurant’s dinner “selfish and void of decency”.
