Protestor Interrupts Abbott Event

Ladies and gentlemen, it seems like the rest of the country could learn a thing or two from the great state of Texas.

This past weekend, a pro-Palestine protester at a campaign event for Governor Greg Abbott in Collin County, Texas got a harsh, but much needed, reality check. In the middle of Abbott’s speech, this misguided individual attempted to interrupt and disrupt the event. But the people of Texas were having none of it.

As soon as this heckler opened his mouth, the crowd began to boo him. And let me tell you, that was just the beginning. Soon, the crowd of cowboy hat-wearing patriots took matters into their own hands. Literally. They proceeded to manhandle this protester, who was yelling “don’t f***ing touch me!” as he was quickly and unceremoniously shoved out of the event.

The protester learned that in Texas, they don’t take kindly to people who try to disrupt their events and push radical agendas. This is not a safe space for snowflakes.

But apparently, not everyone got the memo. In Washington D.C., pro-Palestine protesters and rioters gathered outside the White House. They chanted “Ceasefire Now” and “Free, Free Palestine” while waving Palestinian flags. But things took a dangerous turn when some of the protesters began damaging security fencing and hurling objects at police.

Thankfully, the Secret Service quickly responded and no one was seriously hurt. But the fact that these protesters thought they could get away with such destructive behavior is concerning. And what’s even more concerning is the lack of arrests made by D.C. police. This just goes to show the difference between the law and order-mentality in Texas versus the liberal chaos in D.C.

“As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed,” the statement continued. “The Secret Service made no arrests associated with the march and there was no property damage to the White House or adjacent buildings.”

But wait, there’s more. During this chaos, some idiots thought it would be a good idea to support Yemen as well. Yes, you heard that right. These protesters were shouting “Yemen, Yemen make us proud / Turn another ship around” at the same time that Biden ordered strikes against the Houthis in Yemen.

Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela A. Smith had some choice words for the protesters, stating that “violence, destructive behavior, and criminal activities are not tolerated.” But unfortunately, it seems like this message was lost on the protesters.

“The right to peacefully protest is one of the cornerstones of our democracy, and the Metropolitan Police Department has long supported those who visit our city to demonstrate safely,” Smith’s statement read. “However, violence, destructive behavior, and criminal activities are not tolerated.”
