Kanye West, who is currently referring to himself simply as “Ye”, has long been one of the most controversial figures in modern music.
West, who has been open about his struggles with a bipolar disorder, made waves just days ago by attending a fashion show wearing a shirt with “white lives matter” emblazoned on it.
This week, Ye found himself locked out of Twitter after threatening the entire Jewish population.
Kanye West’s Twitter account was locked on Sunday after he posted a shocking threat against Jewish people.
“The account in question has been locked due to a violation of Twitter’s policies,” a Twitter spokesperson told Mediaite on Sunday.
What exactly did he say?
“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” he wrote.
The controversy had “Yitler” trending on Twitter, as many users bashed the rapper for his apparent and galling antisemitism.
