Call it what you will: The “new world order”, the “global elite”, or maybe even the “Illuminati”. Whatever moniker you choose for those who rule over those we elect, their agenda will always run directly through the Bilderberg meetings.
The traveling event brings together some of the most powerful people in the world, to act like some sort of steering committee for the global citizenry. It’s a game of influence being run by some of the richest people in the world, and it’s coming to Washington DC this week.
Global elites representing business, politics, big tech, media, and academia are now in Washington, DC, for the 68th annual meeting of the Bilderberg Group.
Among the 120 invitees this year publicly acknowledged by Bilderberg are Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, Henry Kissinger, former CIA head David Petraeus, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), and CIA Director William J. Burns.
The consortium appears to have a rather full itinerary this time around.
The conference, initially started by the Dutch royal family in 1954, is seen as the genesis for ideas ranging from free trade agreements like NAFTA to the creation of the European Union, as Fox Metro reports. Key topics acknowledged for discussion in D.C. include:
- Geopolitical Realignment
- NATO Challenges
- Indo-Pacific Realignment
- Sino-US Tech Competition
- Continuity of Government and the Economy
- Disruption of the Global Financial System
- Energy Security and Sustainability
- Post Pandemic Health
- Fragmentation of Democratic Societies
- Trade and Deglobalisation
The annual meetings often find themselves taking place behind a veil of protest, as ordinary citizens the world over continue to recognize and revile the event.
