GAFFE: Biden Calls for Deceased Congresswoman During Nutrition Event

For many Americans, there are serious concerns about the mental health of President Joe Biden.

The septuagenarian lawmaker has long been known for his flabbergasting gaffes and utter gibberish, and his age certainly doesn’t appear to be providing much help in that regard.

And while some of these flubs are rather humorous, (or at least kooky), there are times in which we have to genuinely wonder if everything is okay upstairs with the Commander in Chief.  This week brought us one of these more serious slip-ups.

President Biden forgot about the death of Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski while at an event Wednesday, repeatedly searching the crowd for her and calling her name while on stage.

Biden made the grim mistake during an appearance at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health in Washington. Walorski was one of four lawmakers who sponsored legislation pushing for the conference last year.

The Republican was killed in a tragic car accident along with two of her staffers in early August.

The president attempted to give her a shoutout along with others during his address.

“I want to thank all of you here, including bipartisan elected officials like … Senator Braun, Senator Booker, Representative … Jackie, Jackie are you here?” Biden said. “I think she was going to be here to help make this a reality.”

The awkward moment was captured on camera:

A tribute to Walorski was set to play at the event, but that did not occur during Biden’s attendance.
